NEW! EASY POP-UP DISPLAY CARD

Seriously Getting closer and closer!  I am here to share with you my last card before Christmas for
Ink N' Splatter
Now I made this last week after I seen Jennifer McGuire's latest tutorial.  Video here.
But since I am in Australia I had to change the dimensions so as to fit a C6 envelope. I must have been very switched on (or had a good night sleep) because converting to Australian size was very easy.

I have used once again the Gingerbread Kids stamp set.  I also used the Gingerbread Wishes 6x6 Paper pack with 2 different patterns cut to fit each panel.  The blue stripy paper behind the circle panel also to keep the light blue theme going.

This picture shows how the card looks.  With the folds it opens up larger than a normal card but when folded it fits perfectly in the same sized envelope as a normal card.  All I need to to is add a piece of cardstock to the back so I can write my Christmas message.
Thank you for popping by.
Merry Christmas and happy new year!  Oh and happy crafting.

Jolly Santa (#2)

2nd project in 2 days for
using the cute Christmas set

Who says we cannot have a Santa in pink?  Not me!  I tried to match him as best as I could with the

Added a few holly and berries in colours to also match with a few bits of white foliage to break it up.
It wasn't until I am writing this did I notice I forgot to put a sentiment on it.  Still, I reckon you could get away with not having one.  It is festive enough.
Thank you for popping by. Happy crafting!

Jolly Santa's Reindeer

I am back with a double header this week.
Today I share with you a little cute project for

I have used the little reindeer from the stamp set

I used Salty Ocean Oxide and Tumbled Glass Oxide for the background.  Just a little wintery hue to make him stand out.
I die cut from silver and gold foil cardstock using Tim Holtz Deck The Halls Colourize dies.
The stars are also from this set (in red foil) and the Jingle all the Way is from SU Holly Jolly Wishes.
Thank you for popping by.  Be sure to head over to the FB group for more inspiration from the DT and also from other members.
Happy crafting!

Christmas Bright

I am back to share my latest project for

I am loving these bright papers from the
They are non traditional colours and yet they still go with a red Santa.

And Santa is from the set Jolly Santas

I added some greenery behind the image to match the papers and to fill the white space.  The sentiment is from my stash

A simple card with few elements sometimes are the best sort.

Thank you for popping by.  I hope you liked this project.

Happy crafting!

Jolly Santa's

Today I am sharing a little project I started a little while ago and was just waiting for the perfect
stamp set to add to it.
Ink N' Splatter  had the perfect Santa I needed.

I made a planner page and wanted a little character for the bottom corner, and this Santa fit the bill.

I am still a traditional coloured Christmas girl.  I even see
the reindeer from this set will be used for tags and bookmarks in my journal.

Don't forget to checkout the Ink N' Splatter facebook page for more inspiration with the DT.  There are some beautiful projects there.

#739

Sketch Saturday time again.  Our 3rd last for the year!

And here is my take on the sketch
'
I used a Limited Edition set from
Kindred Stamps
I will have to play with this set more as they are so cute and bring back so many memories from my childhood.
This sketch kind of reminds me of traffic light.  Each character representing a corresponding colour.
Thank you for popping by and we would love to see you play along with us.
Happy crafting!

Ginger Mix

I am back with another project for

The stamp set I have used is

Gingerbread Kids

And the papers I have used are

Gingerbread Wishes

I challenged myself to use more than one patterned paper for this project.  I succeeded!!  I used 4!
I see the other DT members and members of the FB group do it all the time.  So
I thought I might give it a go.  Bit daunting at first but I got there in the end
Used some enamel accents and a couple of holly leaves to finish it off, and also the sentiment.
This little fellow is such a cutie.
Thank you for popping by and having a look.
Happy crafting!

Gingerbread Kids

Ink N' Splatter time again!
I am continuing to play with the Gingerbread release for this month.
I am just loving the colours and the images are so easy to work with.

This time I am playing with
Gingerbread Kids  stamp set.
I did colour both the little fellow holding the candy cane and this cutie with the lollipop but ran out of time to finish the second card off. I may share it later.
I just used the pattern paper from
some die cut sprays in white, senitment from the set and added some silver pearls. The pink circle is diecut from the pink stripy paper from the set also.
Thank you for popping in and don't forget to grab your set, so you, too, can play with these Gingey cuties.
Happy crafting!

#738

Hi and welcome to another great week of inspiration from the SS design team.
Let's get straight into it

My go to stamp is not always a floral.  But I chose it for this one as the image covers all 4 panels.

This stamp set is from Simon Says Stamp Poppy Field.  The sentiment is also from the set.  I add a couple of clear sequins for understated embellishments.

I stamped the image onto an 12cm by 10cm piece of card.  Then coloured it in.  Cut into 4 x 3cm strips and put pops on the underside and evenly spaced them out on the front of the card.  A simple design but adds a little twist.
You could easily do this with any patterned papers that are left over or want to use up.
Thank you for stopping by and having a squiz at my post. And don't forget to play along with us so we can see your take on this sketch.
Happy crafting!

Gingerbread Mug Love

It is new release time with
Ink N Splatter

This would have to be one of the cutest Christmas releases out there!
Cute stamps and papers as well as a stencil and die.

I got to play with

and the paper pad

Aren't they just adorable?  I used some random Christmas and floral dies for the extra bits under the sentiment, kept them white to allow the characters to pop.  The belt they are resting on has a silver buckle from an old Waffle Flower set I have.  Added some random enamel dots to match the little gingerbreads to finish off.
Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day!
Happy crafting!

#737

Sketch Saturday is here again!
This weeks sketch is
#737

I changed only one thing with this.  The 2 strips behind the square I made into 3 instead.  Just a small change.

Still on my Christmas card streak!
This is a Cottage Cutz die I used for the wombat.  Kept it Australian themed.  The gum leaves stamped in the background, green and red and some golden pearls to add some bling.
I also found a little clipart santa hat to add to him.  He is just so cute.
Thank you for visiting and checking my project out.  Don't forget to play along as we love to see everyone's creations.
Happy crafting!

A Note of Thanks

Ink N Splatter time again.
I wanted to make a new cover for one of my many, many notebooks and thought this little guy fit the bill nicely.  For this I used the

Even though we don't celebrate thanksgiving here in Australia, he is perfect on the cover for my many lists I make each day/week.  Excellent for you planning of your day of celebration.
I used some random dies and scraps of paper and cardstock to make this.  Great way to use up some scraps.
Thank you for stopping by and looking.

And it just so happens to be Sketch Saturday time also. I get to kill 2 birds with one stone (bad analogy but you get the gist.)

Sketch #736
I kept it pretty much the same except the little rectangle I replaced with a star and moved it to the upper left hand corner.

This project has a slightly different kind of look and feel for a Christmas card.
I went for a monochromatic look with some yellow highlights for the star shine on the characters.  Funny the things we think of when we look at a stamp set.
This set is Oh Holy Night from, you guessed it, Ink N Splatter.
The sentiment is not from this set but I thought it fit perfectly with the feel of this card.
I do hope you enjoyed your time here.  Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a voucher from Ink N Splatter

Oh Holy Night

No new release this month, with Ink N Splatter, so we are revisiting some older sets.
So I had a quick look through and found this beauty.
Perfect to get your Christmas cards started early!

I thought 3 panels, sponged with different shades of ink in the background would suit this set.  I made my own stencil with some plastic and the right sized die.  Coloured these royal fellows up, fussy cut and popped them on each panel.  Cut the sentiment out and mounted that on navy card stock that matches the card base.  I found a border die in my stash that filled in the bottom nicely.
Lastly, added the star at the top.  And much to my surprise I managed to capture in the pic the wink of stella I added to the night sky.  First time for everything!

Smore Gnome Please

Ink N Splatter time again.
This week I played with another set from their new release
Now this gnome is after my own heart.  Love a good smores.

Now what I have done is a little different.  This release is kind of focused on Autumn.  Here is Australia it is Spring.  So I went with a Christmas theme as I seem to be making a lot of that theme at the moment.

It is a little sad as I did not play with our papers for this project.  I went the red and green and added gold on the mushrooms.  Reminds me a little of Santa eating the treats the kids have left out for him on his busy night.
Just goes to show you that with a little twist on the colour combo's you can change the theme the stamp was aiming for.
Hope you like my little project.
Happy crafting!

Pumpkin Spice

Ink N Splatter have just release their September released
These gorgeous little gnomes are gnome for the Thanksgiving holidays.
My project I hope reflects this.
and matching papers for the season

I rolled a bunch of serviettes (might be napkins in your part of the world) and used the pattern paper as a belly band around them all.  Then I coloured up the image, hand cut them out and adhered it to the front of the belly band.  I nice little addition to any table setting.

We here is Australia do not celebrate Thanksgiving and we are coming into Spring quite nicely.  This will be used at out next BBQ.  Great way to make our craft supplies stretch into everyday events.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you liked my project.

Happy crafting!

Little Boy Boo's

Gee that week went quick!  I am back sharing another project for

I am playing with
Little Boy Boos stamp set

I just love this months papers so much.  These ones are from
and

I decorated a little caldron I have had for years.  Could be used for trick or treating but our kids are too old for that.  So it sits in my craft room so I decorated it.  I put a belly band all the way around with matching papers too.
And isn't the little Frankie just the cutest!  I coloured him in traditional halloween colours.  Love the combinations.  Threw in a spooky tree that is highlighted by that beautiful starry paper behind it and a few cobwebs.
Thank you for stopping by.  Be sure to check out all the other great inspiration from the DT on the Facebook page.

#734

I am finally back playing along with our
Sketch Saturday challenge!

This challenge we also have a twist use Red, Yellow and Blue as your Colours

I gave the optional twist a go this time around too.

When I have been creating cards not for a Design Team project I have been going through my stash to revisit or use for the first time, sets that just waiting to be used.  This one is an oldy but a goodie.
Building Blocks from Kindred Stamps
The colour theme really plays well with this set. Just the right project for any lego fan.
Don't forget to play along with us.
Happy crafting!

Gnome Magic

More Halloween inspiration coming your way.
release is awesome for this.
As an Aussie, Halloween is becoming more and more popular.
We live out of town so we do not get any trick or treaters.  But that does not stop me from playing with these cute images.  And I have to say, I am loving the colour combo's from the paper pack
Purples and greens.

The sentiment is not from this set.  It is one from my stash that I thought would suit this magical gnome, who is from the stamp set
I reckon he could even be the gnome version of  Dumbledore!  Not exactly him, but close enough.
I added the bright green border around the sentiment to match the green in the pattern paper.  Threw on some cobwebs and gems and you have yourself magical goodness.
Thank you for popping by and I hope all you US crafters enjoy your spooky night!
Happy crafting!

Gone Batty!

Back again with this months new release from

This week I had the chance to play with Little Boys Boos Halloween :stamp set.

If you cannot tell, I really loved this page from the Paper pack

I started with the black cardstock for the base.  Then a layer of white to lighten the card a little.  Then I trimmed the paper to fit.
Coloured up a trio of Bats.  These I popped using foam mounts.  Don't you just love their little faces?
I do!
Cut out the "BOO"  and gave them some evil eyes to finish off.  The perfect addition to add a little more spook!
Thank you for popping in and don't forget to join us over in the FB Community for more inspiration.

Halloween Gnomes

Whoohoo!  New release time for

Halloween is the theme.  We are getting in early (doesn't hurt).

I am sharing a little bit of a decor project.

Halloween Gnomes Stamp set
is what I have used on this cute little decoration.  I have used 2 of the 3 gnomes.  The pumpkin is from a set I already had in my stash.
I kept the colour scheme the same as the picture inside the frame.  This is from the Paper Pack
I am in love with this pack.  There is even a purple hued image, same as above.  I love how there is a scene in this set.  You can make your own little spooky tale if you wanted to.
I used an old Memory Box Spiderweb die for the edges.  I thought about going with a black frame but then the spiderwebs would never have shown.  I could have gone white with them I guess but I like the white frame.  Keeps it fun with the gnomes.

Blue Birthday Kitties

Hi again!  I thought this week I would play along with the FB colour challenge
has going on this month.
So I got out my paper pack and had a flick through.  Picked out 2 different patterns.  Now I layered one on top of the other.  Very unusual for me.  I do struggle to use more than one pattern paper on a project so this is good practice for me.

Added a bit of bling with the silver glittered balloons.  I omitted using gems/sequins for this one.  Kept it very simple.
The stamp set used was
and the paper pack was
and

The sentiment is also from this set.  I stamped it in blue to match and fussy cut around it and popped it center to the image.
Thank you for popping in and have a gander at my project.
Happy crafting!
