December APTTC

Happy December!  Welcome to may last post for A Perfect Time To Craft as a Design Team Member.

My last project is using an image from one of my favourite digi companies.

Some of us are older enough to remember these musical wonders.  Sitting on a Sunday afternoon listening to the radio and recording the top ten each week onto a blank cassette tape.  Hoping the DJ did not speak over the top of the song.  LOL.  Hehe, the good old days.
I googled some retro 70's colours and matched them the best I could with my cardstock for the background  The cassette tape is coloured using my copic markers, then cut out and popped with dimensionals.

I have been with APTTC since 2019.  Have loved every minute of it.
I have felt with life at the moment and my needs as a crafter have changed over the last year or so, that now is the right time to step down.
I am very thankful for my time with Anne and the rest of the awesome designers.
But I will still be creating and sharing, so keep an eye out.
Happy crafting!

Hinata

Time for another project for Beat Paper.

I am continuing with my projects using the Naruto set.

When you get stuck for ideas for backgrounds or layouts, it can help to google the character itself.  This one had a beautiful purple background that go from dark to light, outside to in.  Then I used the same stencil I used for the Naruto card in a pale blue.
Also the sentiment is also from the character.  So the card can be used for any reasons.  Not just for birthdays
Hope you like this project.  Go and check out Beats store.  There are awesome sets of images over there.
Happy crafting!

Beat Paper November Release

Hi and thank you for stopping by.

Today is my first  time designing for Beat Paper and her new releases.

Today i am sharing a project using 4 images from

The Fellowship

I love to make bookmarks.  So I made this cute set.  You cannot make one without the other 3.
I will take you through the step by step on how I coloured and made the bookmarks.

All codes are for Copics markers.  My marker of choice!

Now for the bookmarks.  I love using Oxide inks on water colour paper.

Firstly need to trim down the die cut bookmark.  It is an older MFT one.

Next I wipe some oxide ink onto plastic laminate.

Then spritz a little water on it.

Place the bookmark face down. Do this until you get the coverage you want.

This is how my first one turned out.

Each one comes out differently.  Every one is unique.

Then diecut out coloured card stock and adhere each front panel onto them.

The last one shows I added some ribbon and string to finish them off.

Thank you for joining me on my little crafting adventure.  Catch you next time.
Happy crafting!
