February APTTC

It is the first of the month and that means

time!

And our sponsor this month is
and the file I played with is

As this project is a pre printable one it makes for a quick and easy card (except for the cutting)
This set is like a paper tole one.  You cut different sized elements out and layer them over the original picture.  As an Aussie it was so good to find a Koala to play with. Great for kids or even someone who love Aussie animals.
Don't forget to play along with us as the prizes are awesome!
Happy crafting!

#513

Another great fortnight is here with projects from the DT for

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge

One of our sponsors is

Hetty Clare

And the image I got to play with was

Owl Fun

These little feathered friends are just the cutest, don't you think?  I used a stencil in the background to give the effect of disco lights (that is what I reckon they look like...hehe) and used 2 different colours to add to this effect.  Some nice bright colours as this will go in my stash under Kids cards.
Actually any owl lover would love this card also I think.
Keep the party going and play along with us for your chance to win a prize.
Happy crafing!

Family Birthday

Today I share a card not as a DT member.

I should post more creations that I do outside these so let us see how I go this year.

Kindred Stamps had another Limited Edition Box late last year and I was very lucky to have received mine just before Christmas.

I loved watching the characters on tv when I was just a young child.  If I was lucky I was allowed to stay up passed my bedtime to watch it...lol.

My dad used to do the best impersonation of this character.  One of my favourite childhood memories. Isn't it funny the things we remember from childhood. So random.

Anyway back to the project.

I remember this character had the puppeteers hands as his own and didn't he make the biggest mess in the kitchen?  Nearly as much as me I reckon....hehe.
I kept this one CAS (clean and simple).  I cut out the big letters using an alpha set from
which is
One of the best priced sets I have found.
I googled some memes of this character and found one that had the Happy Birthday the way he says it. So I used Word to print that out and then trimmed it down to add to the card front.
I hope you have liked my little project today.  And yes my Dad did love his card. It had been so long he could not do his imitation, but I am ok with that.  It will remain one of my childhood memories I will always treasure.
Happy crafting!

Welcome to a brand new year of inspiration from

  Sketch Saturday

We are shaking it up a little bit this year.  We are going from a weekly challenge to a biweekly challenge.  Makes it easier for people to find the time to play along.  The more the merrier!

My project this fortnight uses a set from

Kindred Stamps

known as

Motel Family

I used a floral pattern in the background to try and capture the feel of Motel wallpaper.  The glimmer cardstock is to give the family the bling the so long for.  They are one of my favourite families of all                                                                               time.  Love them!
And finally the sentiment says it all.
Don't forget to play along with us this month for your chance to be featured.
Happy crafting!

#512

We are back again for another great year of crafting over at

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge

and our first sponsor is

Star Jam Lines

The image I chose to use was another little elephant.

Little Elephant

Like my last project I am still on my holidays and only have limited supplies on hand.
I grabbed some of the patterned paper that my daughter brought down when she visited for the weekend.  I did bring my bigshot so with what few dies I had I cut out a tag shape around the printed image.  I had already made one trip to Spotlight to grab a sheet of silver glimmer paper, so the bow is made out of that.
I just adore Star Jam Lines images.  They are so cute and easy to use.
Don't forget to play along if you get some time for your chance to win a prize.
Happy crafting!

Daisy May and Sweet Pea

My first Digi Doodle Studios Guest designer project for 2022!
I am currently away on holidays and printed out this image before we left.  I took with me only a minimal amount of craft supplies and made this project in between naps and swims at the beach (yep lucky me!)
The image I am using is

It was just lucky that I had a craft delivery while I was away and daughter brought it with her when she visited.  Inside it has some patterned papers.  They helped out nicely for this project.
And I had a die set in there too.  I hand drew the extra flowers behind the image and some to put either side of the sentiment. I was also limited to my copic collection too, so I was lucky they matched the papers.
Do check out the DDS site as there are some gorgeous images to be had.
Happy crafting!

#132 CCC Digi Creations

Second project for the year is here!  Over at CCC Digi Creations we were sponsored by
this month
And the image I played with first up is

I just had to make a few times as  this gorgeous image was too good to stop at one.
I kept it fairly simple.

A banner die with the image, MFT stenciled background, a sentiment cut out twice to add a nice heading and some small clay cloud pieces.

Throw on a couple of gems at the bottom of the banner and that finished it off nicely.

Don't forget to check out all the other DT projects for some inspiration and even play along for your chance to win!
Happy crafting!

Sketch Saturday time again.   I thought I might do a male card for this sketch. This is a set I bought but have never used.  My aim this ...
