APTTC June

A Perfect Time to Craft Challenge has begun for this month.
One of this months sponsors is

I was lucky enough to play with

Funky Flower Blocks

I got a little excited and made 2 of the same project but in different colours, just to see how they would look.

I honestly cannot tell you which I like better.  I left them sentimentless, that way I can add a sentiment for the right occassion when the time is right.
I glued each coloured block to black cardstock and cut them out leaving a thin border all around.  I popped these on the front using foam mount tape to give the card a little dimension.
Don't forget to play along with us and share your project for your chance to win some prizes.

#499

We are back again with another great fortnight of inspirational fun.
One of the sponsors this time around is

Fred She Said Designs

and the image I was lucky enough to play with is

 Rosie with a Flower

Isn't she a cutie?  I coloured her in my C's Copic markers.  The flower is R85, R83 and R81. The leaves are G40, G43 G46.  The background of the shaker is a bit of alcohol technique I had left over from another project.  And to kind of match it a little I used some Perfect Pearls around it.  The flowers are a mix of Elizabeth Crafts Hydrangea dies and an old Carl Punch I have.
Don't forget to play along with team this challenge for your chance to win a prize.
Happy craftying.

#21 Sketch

Back again with a sketch challenge this week.  I love sketch challenges.  It takes some of the thinking out of a project, which can make it quicker to make.

I did do a few circles less but it is still close enough to the sketch.

I used my Plumber Bros set from Kindred Stamps for this one.  Totally fits the sketch perfectly.
This card is for those old fashioned gaming fans.  I know this was my era.  Classic game that will never die!  Hehe.
Don't forget to play along for your chance to Guest DT.  This is an awesome challenge to be apart of or to just play along.  Lot's of inspiration, just for you!
Happy crafting.

#20 Encouragement

As you can see our theme is Encouragement.  This can mean so many things to so many different people.

And here is my project.

I have had this little girl in my stash for so many years.  And she is timeless, as meditation is just as popular as ever.  And reminds me we should all take some time out from the chaos of our day.
The image is from a very old, retired set from Simon Says Stamp.  The sentiment is one of my favourite old sets from My Favourite Things,  The stencilled water is from I have no idea!  I took the stencil out of the pack and have no idea the name, sorry!  But it is my go to for water.
Hope you can join us over at the challenge.  If not for fun, then for your chance to guest DT!
Happy crafting!

#498

We are back with another great challenge over at Penny's

is one of our great sponsors this time around.
The image I got to play with is

I could not resistant adding the famous background to go with this image.  Such an iconic picture.
Add some gold leaf onto the leaves underneath to add a little class.
Used mainly C's, and W's to colour this in, with a pop of R56 for her lips.
Hope you can play along this challenge for your chance to win some prizes.
Happy crafting.

#19 Colour Challenge

This weeks challenge is a colour one.

The whole card is made from Stampin' Up products except for the flowers.  All are current except for that cute embosing folder. Doesn't it remind you of a couch?  lol.
Anyway I matched the colours as best I could.  Purple Posy, Seaside Spray and Midnight Muse.  A bit of class to start us off on our crafting week.
Don't forget to play and add your link to the blog for your chance to Guest DT with us!
Happy crafting!

Furry Friends

Hi and welcome back to another great project from

Digi Doodle Studio

This month in my Guest DT role I got a chance to play with

 Furry Friends

I just love this image.  I have been playing more and more with animal images and have to say they are awesome to work with.

The image is fairly symmetrical, and that is how done the whole whole card.
I wanted to keep the background fairly simple as I think the image is busy enough. So I done a rainbow in the background with basic shrubbery and grass.  Some clouds stenciled in to fill the sky.
I left this project without a sentiment as I can use it later on for when a perfect occasion comes along.
Thank you so much for joining me and my little furry friends here.
Take card and happy crafing!

Owl-some Owls

Today is  Ink N Splatter time. I had the privilege of playing with the new release Owl-some Owls stamp set.  I also used the paper pack ...
