Last Minute Lucy

Last minute Lucy projects are those we have obviously left it a bit late to do.

No photo description available.

I have made 2, both the same layout but just change the images and sentiments.

This way you can change the theme of the card for the person you are giving it too.  Some people are wine drinkers (not me) but some are a spirit drinker (yep, that is me!  lol)

The sets I used were SU Sip Sip Horray Bundle and MFT's Sassy Pants Holidays Too. The Holly images is from Heartfelt Creations.

Don't forget to visit our blog hop and instagram pages for inspiration.

Limited Edition Boxes are back ( limited time only)

Did you miss out on some of our limited edition sets?

Tis the season and we have pulled some of our limited edition sets and put them into exclusive bundles that are available only until Monday!
We really want to help those in need this holiday season and to raise funds to do this we've pulled a few crazy limited edition sets out of the vault and will ONLY be available until Monday. They won't be available again, this is the only way you'll be able to get them, and no you can't have any digital stamps that the original came with (those remain exclusive to the box)
Please read the details of each listing to see what is and isn't included. You can't use discounts on these (reward redemptions are okay).
We will be donating ALL the profits from these sets to helping families out this Christmas, just like last year!
Use this link to get there quicker.  Check under New Arrivals.   https://www.kindredstamps.com/?aff=14

Seriously get in quick!  You don't want to miss out on this fantastic offer!

Treat Container, Gifts and Ornaments

Hi all and welcome to another great week of inspiration.

Here are the sneak peeks of peoples projects.

 No photo description available.

Today I share with you a little gem of an idea.  Not mine, but here is the link to the Youtube video
Janas Paperdreams  done showing step by step.  I have added step by step photos below for reference too.

The first step is to use a square piece of cardstock.  The grid mat shows you the sizes in cm's.  Each large square is 2 inches.

Score it up and across in the centre.  Then diagonal on the top two squares.

Cut up the middle from the bottom to the centre of the square as shown

Then mountain and valley fold using the below picture as a guide.

The bottom 2 squares overlap.  Glue these together, like so, for the treat to sit on.

Then I cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller than the card stock panels.  Cut this in half and adhere to the two top triangle pieces.

I did mine a little similar to her but moved the sentiment and left off the little embellishment off the bow.  I can see these being made for weddings and other party events.  I  am making a few for our Christmas table (although in this Aussie heat the chocolate will melt fast!).

Project three.  It is that time again.  This week we were to do a gift card//tag set.  I created a card with a little gift card pocket.  Nothing fancy this time around.

I made a card that, seriously, could still pass for a Christmas one.  Just doesn't have all the frills of the silly season.  One for those that like to play it low key.

The stamp set is from Ink On 3.  Card stock is from SU, and I coloured it all with Copic markers.  A shoe lovers delight!

Don't forget to check out all the other amazing projects from the rest of the group.

A Perfect Time for Dr Digi

Today I get to share my latest project for A Perfect Time To Create Challenge DT.

This month's sponsor is Dr Digi.  The image I got to work with is

I love how this turned out.  I went through my die and stamp stash to find things that would match this metal head.

MFT Boss Babe (sentiment)
Sizzix Thinlits Mixed Media #3 (brick wall)
Memory Box Musical Motifs (obviiously the notes!  lol)
Copic markers

I seriously love this!  Don't forget to play along with the challenge for your chance to win the prize up for grabs.
Cannot wait to see what you come up with!

Mass Production Friendly

Fancy Fold or Mass Production Friendly
Welcome to another creative week of Christmas Inspiration.

This week as mentioned above it is a Fancy fold or mass production friendly project.  And as you know I love my pop up boxes.  And living in Australia we have a hard time finding some great Aussie themed Christmas cards.  We don't have snow here, we have sweat and sun...lol.
Uniquely Creative have some great stamps (with matching dies if you need) of some cute critters.  I received a request to make an Aussie themed pop up.  And this is what I came up with.

And a closer view.

This will definitely be in my stall for the Christmas of 2020.  I just love these images.

Festival Of Christmas Begins!

We are a group of crafty creators, getting together to throw a Festival of Christmas! It will be a themed series of blog posts/videos/Instagram posts.

Our events will be every Friday, November 22 thru December 20.

This group of crafters are amazing!  Please visit all blogs to see all the Christmas inspiration.

Our first theme is Snowy or Snarky.
I really wanted to do a snarky card but time got the better of me...so I am sharing a card I have made for a special request.  This one is Happy Birthday related but I am going to make a Christmas version.
The stamped image I used is from Kindred Stamps
Winter Friends ,

A great theme to play with this time of year...

And as you can see, this lovely lady has even got some glitter on her dress.....

Here Is a list of the creative crew.

Dr Digi

Welcome to my first post for Sketch Saturday (in a while).  I took a little hiatus to regroup and now I am back!

We have a great sponsor this week:

Dr. Digi has generously offered 2 digital stamps of the winner's choice!

Here is sketch #589

And here is my take....

The image from Dr Digi I used was the Comic Sentiment 1 (have a super birthday).

This was a no brainer for me.  We all know how much I love my fandoms.  And I know the "S" is for a certain male character but this young lady was part of the Super Friends group so I think she earned it...lol.

I hope you can join us for your chance to win!

CraftsUprint

It is that time again for our latest projects for A Perfect Time To Craft challenge.

This months sponsor is craftsUprint .

The image I used is Christmas the Reason For Love - Baubles   This is actually a set you can print off as a ready made card as well as print off the center as well.  I chose to just crop the front cover image down to keep it simple.

I think these look great as tags.  You can print out as many as you need without having any leftovers to store away for next year.
I just sized the image to what I wanted ( I use Word but there are many programs out there to use) and trimmed them down.  Adhered them to some silver foil cardstock and run them through my Bigshot with a stitched die.  Then hole punched a hole for the ribbon to go through.  On the back (which I didn't take a photo of DOH!) is To and From stamped.  There is even enough room to write a little message.

An elegant touch to any gift that you are giving this Christmas.  I have these 3 for my kids.  It is nice to make a project that you can actually use.
Don't forget to play along with us this month.  There are prizes to be won!

Rock On Again

I just had a look at the blog and I cannot believe I didn't share my colouring of this fabulous little set.
Rock On another set from Kindred Stamps, but I have linked the set to my Aussie retailer Dawn Lewis as she has plenty of these sets on hand for you to purchase.

The photo is not the best as the new lamp I have bought is shining a bit bright at the top of the page.  But you still set the idea.
The next photo shows a certain rocker in all his unshaven glory.  I used my copics to colour all the images but have now discovered that my black prismacolour pencil does a great job on stubble.  I can see me whipping these pencils out more often!

And here is a planner page (very simple but I will get better with doing these I promise!)

So if you are into these rockers from past then don't forget to pop in to the markets listed in my previous post. You will never know what projects you will find.

Happy Crafting.

Limited Edtion Box Colouring

Hi all!  I am back with some colour combo's I have been working on.

I am gearing up for some Handmade  Christmas markets in the lead up to the holiday season. (Maryborough and Hervey Bay)

Also I was asked if I would do this, which gave me the push I needed to finally get it done.  Still have so many sets that need doing but 1 set at a time.

First up here is the Pride Limited Edition Box that Kindred Stamps put out a while back.

Let me tell you.  Trying to come up with the different yellow colour combo's was not easy...lol.  Copic yellows are not the best, but I reckon they turned out pretty good.
I love the little grubs....sooo cute!!

The second one I done was the Toy Box Limited Edition Box.  With both these sets I struggled a little bit, but I am thinking it was because I was not in the right mood.  Sometimes you have to be in the right frame of mind to do certain things.  But I am impressed that I got them done, at least.

My fav from this set is the little green fella right at the bottom.  So easy to colour but cute at the same time.  Now it is a matter of colouring multiples of everything ( not to mention cutting them out! You know me and my fussy cutting).  Will try and share more projects that I have coming for the markets.  Even going to do some new display ideas.  Just hope I can make them work.

Happy crafting.

World Cardmaking Day

Whoever thought of this is a genius!  Another excuse for us to get in our craftroom is what World Cardmaking Day is for!  LOL

Today I held a class in my home.  My favourite ladies helping me to do what I love to do.

And yes we even a flowers on the table (not real but very pretty) to embellish our space.

We made 6 cards today in a matching gift set.  It is up to each of the ladies whether they keep them as a set or just give them away individually.  Here is just one for an example.

We used  the Good Morning Magnolia set from Stampin'Up.

and the matching papers Magnolia Lane DSP

I love these so much.  I will be having the gift sets available in my stall.  Great ideas for Christmas gifts.
I hope you are enjoying your World Cardmaking Day. I know I am.

A Perfect Time To Craft

Welcome to my fist post for the challenge page A Perfect Time to Craft
The October Challenge with A Perfect Time to Craft is now open  The sponsor for this month is The Artsystamper Shop
The image I used was Field Flower Silhouettes

I have started my very first journal.  I know, I know, I am a bit slow on the uptake but for some reason I take a while to warm up to something new.

This one is a pocket divider page (not sure of the terminology for planners so pardon me for a while whilst I learn.... :-)

The heart is like a charm hanging from the brad reinforced hole.  I printed some butterflies and made them into clips.  They are so cute!

And I also resized 3 butterflies and grouped together to fit onto a banner shape.  You don't just need to have words on tabs.  I really like the idea of images.  :-)

Don't forget to play along .

Rock On

Hi again!
Today I got a chance to play with my Kindred Stamp set,
Rock On , from my personal stash.

Kindred Stamps, Rock On stamp set, Australia

I will be making a few of these for the Fandom part of my stall, so stay tuned for more cards using these fab images.

Here is card number one!

I used the POP ART as my inspiration for this one.  This was fun to do as well as a little challenging.  The galaxy background is the Altenew Nebula washi tape.  This stuff is a must!!!

I have added the links with the names of products for your convenience.  Dawn Lewis will definitely look after you if you are after these items.

Don't forget there will be more projects using this set to come over the next few days.
Till then......

I'm Wishing

Wow!  Where did that 2 weeks go?
I have had this coloured up for the whole time but never got around to taking a photo to share.
Never mind that it is here now though!

I'm Wishing

I am loving documenting these sets.
When I go away on holidays I always like to take something away with me to colour.  This will save me taking ALL of my markers with me as I will now know what I need.  Hehe.
Thanks for popping in!

Working Wednesday

Well today is Working Wednesday.  I had planned on taking some photo's of my work in progress but seeing as half my room is chaos I think I should do a tidy up.

What do you reckon?

I don't think I should make the photo extra large as you can see there is no room left to put anything....lol.  At least I will be in the craftroom...right?

#749

Sketch Saturda y is here.  Can you believe we are bearing the end of April already?  This year really needs to slow down    So a very geom...
