Lovable Panda's

Now I have shown many a time my love for bookmarks.  And today I am going to do it again!
This time instead of using my oxide inks for the background, I have used
from their latest release.
And the image I focused on was the Panda holding a heart from

I thought my youngest could give these to her friends.  A little late Valentines present.
The ways of using these papers is endless (not just for cards)
Thanks for stopping by and

Sketch Saturday #720

Time is going by so quickly.

We are now up to our 4th sketch already with

Sketch Saturday

and the optional twist is
Feature an animal image.

Now you will notice that I have changed the sketch slightly.  I have it in portrait and let the geometrical shape take up the whole card front instead.
I used 2 different alcohol pearl inks for the background.  The great thing about using pink and blue, when mixed together they give you purple  so that is why you see some of that there.
The stamp set is on old one from My Favourite Things.  A Birdie Brown design.
Spring Gnomes.  Not sure if you can buy it still but it is one of my favourites.
Kept with a simple colour palette.
The sentiment is one I printed using my Word document.  Comes in handy when you cannot find the perfect one you are looking for.
Don't forget to play along with us over as SS.  We love seeing what everyone comes up with.
Happy crafting!

P.S. I Love You

I am here today to share a little project I made using
from
Ink N Splatter

And I also used a page from the
I love the green and pink combo of the paper so I kept that themed when colouring.
And I also included a sentiment down the side of the image.  Not a normal place to put it but fitted nicely just there.
Thank you for popping by and don't forget to join us in the Facebook group to share your project using
Ink N Splatter products.

Beat Paper February Release

Time again for another inspiring release from

They have 2 new release packages this month and the one I chose to play with is

As I wanted the images to be the star I kept the background very simple.
I used Mowed Lawn Oxide Ink on the top and bottom of the front panel, then ruled a black line to keep the edge tidy.
Coloured the images up and cut them all out and played with placement until I was happy.
I used my Word Document to print the sentiment.  I downloaded a free font from DaFont.
The Wild Breath Of Zelda font.
Fitted in perfect for the theme.
Thank you so much for popping by.
Happy crafting!

INS Colour Challenge

Hello!  I am posting today a challenge currently being held over in the

Ink n Splatter Facebook page

Colour challenge as well as keeping it CAS (clean and simple)

I have used a stamp from their current new release this month

This colours are not quite exact but close enough.  It needed something a little extra without being too much so some random diecuts from white cardstock done the trick, as well as some pearls.
Just in time for Valentines day or even just to let someone know you love them.
Happy crafting!

Sketch Saturday #719

That time again.  Let us get our mojo on with

Sketch Saturday

Here is this weeks sketch

And the optional twist this time is
use an old stamp.
So maybe a set you have not played with in a very long time?  I know I am guilty of set neglect...hehe

Spoiler!  I did not use an old set.  I actually used a brand newie.  This is a digital image I bought from Amanda Jayne's Etsy shop.  It is a  Quokka (a very cute Aussie animal).
The bundle had 27 gorgeous little images with a different theme to each.  This one suited this time of year so I went for it.
The gum leaves in the background are an old stamp from Uniquely Creative.  As is the little gum leaf branch to the left, which replaces the 3 stripes.
I kept the heart on the right but omitted the bow and the scallop at the bottom of the sketch.  I used red for the dirt under his feet as we have some of the most beautiful colours to choose from here in Oz.
Our sporting colours used to be green and gold so I stuck with those for the Easter Eggs.
Thank you for joining me today and hope to see you playing along with us and sharing your creations.
Happy crafting!
