Crafty Christmas Club - April Edition

No photo description available.

Today is a bonus day.  I have one project for two different Design Team requirements.  We have our Craft Christmas Club and Sketch Saturday Challenge.

So I MASHED my two projects into one.  Time saver and a great way to showcase two events in one.

This weeks sketch is #607

I coloured these images sometime last year.  And like all crafters....I ran out of time to use them.  I have a folder where I stash some precoloured images, and for the Christmas theme I raided it and found these.  So instead of just one card, I made 4 matching ones but in different colours.  A great way to mass produce for an event without getting bored with the same colours over and over.

The imaged used was an old Craftin Desert Diva digital one.  But there are so many gorgeous penguin images out there to choose from.

Ok.  You can play along with Sketch Saturday Challenge for your chance to win.  And then while you are here you can pop on over to the other DT's project.  There are some cute ones!

Welcome to Spring

Cinco de Mayo

Welcome to another great hop with the Crafty Christmas Crew.

This is something quite out of my depth.  Being in Australia we don't have this themed holiday.  I checked with our head DT and she said that sugar skulls would be ok to use for this one.  Lucky, because that is about all I have...lol.

While we are all doing the stay at home thing, I promised myself that I would try and use sets I have bought and never used.  This is one of them.  I bought this about 5 years ago (or maybe longer) from Simon Says Stamp.  It is Sugar Skulls.  I have no idea whether it is still available or not.

I may have even gone a little dark on this.  I don't mind it.  Not my usual thing but it is always good to have a go outside the box now and then.

Copic colours used were

BG02 BG05 BG07 BG09
R32 R35 R37 R39

I didn't add a sentiment on this one.  I may just leave it that way too.  Sometimes a sentiment isn't needed.

Don't forget to check out what everyone else has come up with.

Keep an eye out for another Christmas project and hop in the next day or so.  I am sure by the time this isolation is over I will have all my Christmas cards done.

Protectors of the Throne

No photo description available.

Hi and welcome to my little corner of the world.  I am sharing my colouring in this 30 Day Colouirg Challenge.

I am attempting to get through my Kindred Stamps stamp sets while we are all staying at home. With the kids and homeschooling this will make for some interesting times...lol.

The first set I am doing colour combo's for is Protectors of the Throne The 3rd set in this theme.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

Day 5

Day 6

And here are all of them together in my little record book, for later reference.

This book is slowly filling up.  I have 4 or 5 on the go.  They all have different themes.  I cannot wait till they are all up to date.  I will get one of the kids to help me record them as I flick through.  Nothing more satisfying then seeing it filled and finished.

Sketch Saturday #605

 Good Morning Everyone...

Welcome to another challenge with Sketch Saturday.

Sketch Saturday's 2020 sponsor is Riley and Company

#605

My project features a freebie that Clearly Besotted shared on Facebook.

I changed it a little by removing the sentiment and just used one I had on hand.

Now you can see I used hexagonal shapes like the sketch.  I don't own any dies this shape.  So I printed off some using my Word program.  Cut them out and used them as stencil to hand draw them where I needed and cut them out that way.  A girl has to think outside the hexagon to get this one done!  Doh!  Such a dad joke that one...hehe.

APTTC April project

Hi and welcome to another great month of projects with
A Perfect Time To Craft challenge blog

This months sponsor is
The Hungryjpeg

I used the Watercolour Spring Flowers bundle.

I used a simple leaf image for mine with a background pattern also.

Now I got a little tricky.  I printed my first leaf onto a piece of paper.  Then attached my card front to that paper and run that through the printer.  Repeated another 2 times but placed the card in different positions to end up with 3..  Then diecut a border pattern on the bottom.
I also added the pattern paper to a word document and printed it out and used it to back the card front.  Adhered this to a card.  Added a sentiment that I had prepared earlier, and some gems randomly.  I love how this turned out.  Green and white is so clean and calming.

Thanks for taking the time to check this out.  And don't forget to play along for your chance to win!

Here is the link to A Perfect Time To Craft for you to share you projects.

Sketch Saturday time again.   I thought I might do a male card for this sketch. This is a set I bought but have never used.  My aim this ...
