Spooky Fun

We are having some fun with some spooky stamps in our collections.  Mine is really not "that"spooky but it does have a spider web in it.  If anyone has walked into one you will know what I am talking about, hehe.

Ok.  For my card I used a digital image I bought from etsy.
The web is a really fine stamp.  It is a Tim Holtz one.  Life of the Party.  and the sentiment is an old MFT set.

I know it is a little on the dark side (goes with the spooky theme I guess) but that web did not look as good on any other colour as it did on the black.  And it is such a fine web.  Amazing what they can do.
I used my copic markers to colour the image in.
R29 R27 and R14.
B18 B16 B14
and N9 for the black straps on the outfit.
Turned out exactly how the card was suppose to (like the picture in my head..hehe.)

Now to share with you the other participants in the Spooky hop.

APTTC October challenge

This month's challenge sponsor for the month of October is

The Hungryjpeg

I used Ocean Digital papers and clip art for my project.  The colour scheme sucked me right in.  Soft colours but beautiful combinations.

I simply opened a Word doucment.  Inserted the jellyfish image and made it the size I needed.  I also added the paper image and trimmed it down to a little bigger than I needed (and trimmed it later by hand).  Added these to SU Highland Heather cardstock and cut some strips of cardstock into irregular sized panels.  These I used pops to adhere them to the front.  Used a Taylored Ezpresion sentiment using white embossing powder on some Pacific Point cardstock.  Adhere that to the panels and glued some gems on alternate panels.  Simple yet eye catching.

#629

I am back with another great sketch from

Sketch Saturday

My little inspiration came from another set I have had a while,
I binged watch this show twice(!) in the last few months.  I love these characters so much.

I used a Couture Creations die for the NY skyline and the sentiment is from the set stamped 3 times.
a very simple sketch allows for a simple card to be made in a hurry (except for the colouring of the characters.

Don't forget to play along with the challenge.  Just share your picture and link on the blog page and you are in the chance to win a prize.  Just click the link at the top of this post.

Crafty Christmas Club - September Edition

Welcome back to another great blog hop of Christmas inspiration.

Today I inked up a set that has sat in front of me for the last 3 weeks staring at me.  Begging me to put it on my MISTI.  80's Bears from The Sassy Club.  I also used present stamps from MFT and a sentiment from Altenew.

I added all images (except the holly) to my MISTI so I could stamp out quite a few of these.  I have done a few in different colours.  These bears deserve to all be used for Christmas.  Blue, orange, teal, yellow, purple and pink.  Not sure which one is my favourite.  Will post more picks once I have finished all the others.

The purple one.  They really are the cutest bears.

Don't forget to check out the other participants.  There are some great ideas for Christmas cards.

Keep an eye out for the edit on this post.  I will try and take photo's tomorrow.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you are enjoying our hops.  It is so good to get Christmas out the way early.  And what better way than once a month creating something new.

#627

Hello and welcome back to another great week of

Sketch Saturday

This week our sketch is #627

I again played with my Bananas Limited Edition Box (retired) from

As you probably guessed I cannot get enough of this set.  Making this card (I made 4 of these to go in my fandom stall) it nearly killed me.  Masking all these cute little characters took a bit of work but seriously the effect is worth it.  I will share colour combo's of these characters.....I just have to get a few jobs done first...hehe.

Don't forget to play along for your chance to win.  Click on the highlighted link above to send you back for the details.

Until next time......happy crafting.

Harvest Goodness

If you have a garden, you are probably up to your ears in yummy stuff that you now need to preserve. If you don't have a garden, you may to having garden envy, or fending off zucchini from everyone you know, lol!

It is all up to our own interpretation on this one.  So I have done something a little different.  I have used a cute pea pod ( an old image from a Beth Duff Designs set) and used it to make a baby card.

I love the little curls of card stock that replicates the curly bits from the plant, such a cute addition.  It is nice to have a card in your stash.  The stencil  I used is an altenew one.  The Congratulations is from a MFT set and the"Ït's A Girl " is a very old Kaisercraft one that I use for my Pop up cards.  First time used on a normal card.  The green and paler green are a mix of Copic markets and Distress Oxides.

It is only a short list for the blog hop this month.  We have many on holidays and some are totally swamped with other  DT commitments.
