2 Bunnies

I am sharing my last project for March with you today for

I decided to make 2 cards but with a twist.  The basic design is mirrored.  Giving me a nice little set of cards for giving.

I took images from several different sets to come up with this.
And who says sentiments need to be horizontal?  Not me!  I stamped these on an angle to go with the cut out edge.  Adds a little something different to the card.
Changing the geometric patterns of your layout can easily give you a quick an easy card to make.  Mirroring also changes the look again.
Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a great week!

Sketch Saturday #722

We are back with another cool challenge from

Here is this fortnight's sketch
And the optional twist is use buttons
I chose not to do the optional twist this time.

The stamp is out of a Stampin Up set
He's All That. The dies around the sentiment are from the matching die set to the stamps and a circle die from my stash.
The gear die is a random one from my stash that I never labelled (naughty me).  I die cut it out of copper cardstock to match the copper grid on the patterned paper in the background (also Stampin Up but a retired one from many years ago).  I kept the little circles from the die cut copper cardstock and added the around the bottom right to fill in the little space.  Men don't necessarily want sequins on their cards.  Worked out great.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Hope you can join us on this challenge.
Happy crafting!

Peyton

I am back sharing with you another project for
Really ramping up the Easter cards now!

Today I am using

Peyton's Painted Eggs

After doing the gnomes the other week, i have really gotten into more of the pastel colour palette.
This project is very CAS (clean and simple)
I did very little shading on the image at all.  Just a little on Peyton.  All the paint is just one copic colour each.  I did not want to get too technical as it is a busy image and wanted to keep it simple.
The background is just a couple of oxide inks to keep with the colour scheme.  Oxide help to soften the colour theme (for me anyway)
Hard to tell but I did use a coloured cardstock for the base of the card but it is a very soft purple so blended a little in with the white card once I had finished editing the picture.
Thanks for stopping by.  For more inspiration pop into the Ink N Splatter Facebook page.  The DT have some awesome projects in there.

March Release

It is Beat Paper release time!
This is a second part release for their

Paper Doll  set

My project for this actually uses a mix of both sets.

This project shows 3 different levels of outfits.  And the sentiment says that no matter what you wear, we love you.
You can dress her up or dress her down depending on what you need the card for.
This is one of the many reasons digi images are so versatile.  Especially this set.

Thank you for stopping by.  Don't forget to look up the FB group for more inspiration.

Ink N Splatter March Release

HELLO!
It is that time again with
and today my project is using one of a few sets they have released.

Easter Bunnies

Sometimes it is impossible to send chocolate or Easter treats through the mail.  So as well as sending a card I like to make some little items for the nieces and nephews.
I do bookmarks as well as notebooks like above.
I used some of the papers from the
and coloured up some of the cute images (also if you look around the notebooks you will see more images from the release!)
I find kids love a cute notebook they can scribble or do some drawings in.
Don't forget to stop by our FB page and see more inspiration from our fantastic DT.
Happy crafting!

Hatsune Miku

 Hi everyone.

Today I am sharing a project I have made.

I have used an image from

Beat Paper

My daughter said that this character is very popular so I have given it a go.

Hatsune Miku

I thought I would even get the daughter to have a go as well, as this was her suggestion after all.

I love the background on this.  So many little elements.  So here are a few pictures that will help you in replicating it. (and great for me to refer back to down the track!)

Firstly grab your colour and cut out image, the card base and a card front.

Then I took some star dies and cut out some out using spare white card stock.  Then I added some double sided tape to the back of these.

Next I placed them on the black card to work out the positioning I wanted.  Peeled the cover off the double sided tape and place them in the corresponding position on the white card.

Next I used some oxide ink and rubbed over and around the arranged stars.  Once done, I peeled them off .

Next I grabbedsome black, silver matte foil card, and some powder blue cardstock and randomly cut them into different thicknesses, lengths and angled ends.  Arranged them on the background until I was happy with them.

Then I adhered them all down.

Added some gems for some bling.  Popped the image and the sentiment.  And now you have the finished product.

I am loving all the different backgrounds you can come up with for these character of Beats.
So until next time
happy crafting!
