Paper Nest Dolls

It is Sketch Saturday time again.  And I just scrapped in on the deadline...lol.

We have a great sponsor this week:
http://paper-nest-dolls.myshopify.com/

The Paper Nest Dolls has generously offered digital stamps of the winner's choice.

Here is the sketch for you to play along with.....

and here is my project.....

Taa   daa!!

I did change the sentiment position because I did not have the heart to stamp or cover over the young girl.  Thanks to Paper Nest Dolls for the freebie image.  If you join their facebook group sometimes they let you have a freebie to colour and then share your project for others to see.

Thanks for looking and hope you have a crafty day.  :-)

Christmas Puppy

Another crafty day and another card to share.  Slowly but surely getting all my Christmas cards made.  Makes a change for me.

Using an image Christmas Puppy from Heartcraft Paper.  I printed off the picture and coloured it in with my Copic markers.  The sentiment is an older Stampin' Up one from my stash.

Added in a few rhinestones and foil stars around the design, to give the bling needed.

I added wink of stella onto the present to brighten up the puppy image.

Very much a CAS (clean and simple) card, but very happy with the end result.  I am sure I will find a dog lover to receive this one.

Happy Birthday

Today I get to share a custom made card with you.  For those that know me locally, know that I have a market stall once a week.  I take orders for specialized cards.  This one I have been wanting to make ever since I Guest DT for

Using the stamp set Off to See the Wizard.  Obviously the person receiving this card is a big fan.

I took the photo from a couple of different angles so you could see all the characters.  Even the ruby slippers the girl in the front is wearing actual shine.

When sharing these sets from Kindred Stamps they ask that we do not use the name from pop culture that they pay homage to for copyright reasons.  But that doesn't stop a lot of us from playing and  sharing our creations of these fabulous sets.

Here is a direct link to Kindred stamps if you are interested in purchasing or just window shopping.

Have a great day.  :-)

Wonderful Wizard

Hi all.  It is Sketch Saturday time once again.
This week we are sponsored by

The prize this week is 2 digital stamps of your choice.

Here is sketch #535

Now these sketches are a guide and I try to stay as true to them as I can.  The only thing I added was the sentiment at the bottom. My card just needed something as there seemed to be a gap there. Oh and I added an extra tag.  I had to add the colours that matched the little guy.  Wonderful Wizard

And you will notice it is not the normal kind of photo I take.  We have had no power for 2 days now.  We put the generator on for a few hours at a time to keep the fridge and freezers going, but when I went to take the photo the generator was off....lol.  You can see the rain drops on the window.  I love this little card.  I really wanted to do a colouring tutorial while but lighting was a big issue.  So I will list all materials used instead.

Santa Cocoa

Hi and welcome to another project for Heartcraft Paper.

Still working with the Christmas theme (got to get those cards done early!).  This image is
As soon as I saw this image I thought it would make a great shape for a card.  I do love a card that is done in a shape other than the usual.  He sits just under 4inches tall.  This is the beauty with digi images.  You can make the whatever size you like.  Worked out perfect for this card.

On the back I attached a card that is hidden from the front.  But you can imagine how good this would look hanging on a card string with all the other cards.  It would truly stand out!

Coloured the card with Copic markers.  And printed off a second holly and berry image to "pop" it on the front of the corresponding image for just that little bit of dimension.

Don't forget to shoot on over to Heartcraft Paper and check out all the images available.  I will be back with another HCP project later in the month.  Until then look after yourself and happy crafting.
