Bunny Jelly Bean Take 2

Back again!  This one is for all the purple lovers out there.

Bunny Jelly Bean  is a handsome little fellow.  So I kept this card very simple. The only thing I used other than the image that you would need to purchase is the bow die (Scallop Circle die).  You don't need a lot of products to make a good looking card.  The patterned paper was just a scrap I had.  And the sequins are just some leftovers.  You can colour the image with whatever medium you have, pencils, markers etc.  Your choice!
Back to the craftroom for some more creating!  Till next time.

Bunny Coffee Cup

Todays theme for the Craftin Desert Diva's Design team was pastel.  I am not used to this but I have to say....I am loving it!

This is the Bunny Coffee Cup.  I seem to have a thing for purple lately, as you can see.  The sentiment is just one I done in the Word program.
I coloured each bunny cup, (the back 2 are printed directly onto the card like the sentiment).  The others I cut out and added them in the triangle formation.
Kept it clean and simple.  Sometimes that is most effective.

Thanks for looking!  Happy crafting.

Bunny Basket

Welcome to another day of sharing!  Today I share with you a nice simple Easter card.

I love everything about this card.  The image, Bunny Basket Scene, the bright paper, the scallop circle with leaves ( Scallop circle )and the bling of the bow (Scallop Rectangle).  And if you look close enough you can see the little sequin heart (Pink Heart Sequins) on the belly of the bunny.
Sweet!
Coloured the image in bright colours to match the paper.  Who wouldn't love to receive this with some yummy chocolate!
Till next time!

Irish Kiss

Today I am sharing my latest project for Heartcraft Paper.  This image is not a new release but it is a newbie in the shop.  Kelly Freis!  I am not Irish myself (maybe a few generations back) but I did love colouring this one in.

I seem to be leaning towards colouring red heads.  I drew in the pupils and coloured the in the same colour as her dress.  The background is sponged with Squeezed lemonade oxide and mowed lawn oxide.  The bookmark die is an MFT one.  The ribbons were just ones I had on hand and they matched perfectly.  Now to find some recipients for these cuties.

Thanks for looking!  Happy crafting.

Long Hair, Don't Care

Hello and welcome to another great release from Kindred Stamps.

Today I am showcasing the set "Long Hair, Don't Care" and the digital tower image that you can purchase. Without further ado here are my creations!

All images of the castle were printed in grey rather than black so when I used my copics on top the lines kind of disappeared giving it the no line look.

In this first one I made the tower really big and cropped it so I only got a little more than the doorway on the card front.  It matches in with the size of the stamped images.

Similar to the first one, I made the tower large and only used the bottom this time so the characters are on the ground next to it.

This last one I printed it fully onto a whole piece of A4 cardstock and made a fold out card.  Just follow the pics to see how it opens.

In this photo the horse and chameleon images fold out from behind the sentiment panel.

I did do a sort of step by step of the colour of the castle and where to cut the full size sheet and score for the folds.  I may show that in a few days time.  But for now I hope you enjoyed the projects made for the set "Long Hair, Don't Care"

The entire Kindred Stamps February release will be available Friday, February 22nd at 8am PST/11am EST. Sometimes No Words Are Needed

Hi all.
I am excited to share with you this card I made using the Galactic Adventures stamp set.

I managed to get the faceted heart die and thought it would be perfect to use with these two characters. I  sponged the creases with ink that matched the card.   I did trim it down to stick it to the card front.  The stencil is one I spotted when I was in the shops one day, ( I don't get to go to physical craft shops much) but when I saw this stencil I knew what stamp set I was going to use with it.  First off I tried it on white card, and it just didn't look right.  Then I used my Oxide inks on the black card and it looked fab!!!  Just the look I was going for.
Then it was just a matter of adhering everything together.  I chose not to add a sentiment as sometimes you don't need words.  And I think the heart is big enough to say everything that is needed.
And a  little bonus the heart is hollow underneath so you can hide or add anything else you want.  Just like this cheeky furry character.  LOL

Thank you so much for checking out my project!  I hope you have a great crafty day!

Bunny Jellybean

Sharing today another great image from the Craftin Desert Diva's February release.  This image is Bunny Jellybean Work.

Here in Australia we have a chocolate brand that uses similar colours to this.  So I had to use the for Easter.
I printed the bunny image onto cardstock, and coloured using BV04 BV01 BV00 BV000 and  BV0000.  The green is YG25 and the sing is E81 and E83.  I ripped a piece of paper in  a line.  Then used it as a stencil to sponge inn the grass with Mowed Lawn  Oxide ink.
I had printed out a few extra eggs from Easter image and coloured them, cut them out and added them to the card.
The sentiment is just one I printed using the Word program.
I am liking this colour combo more and more.
Thanks for looking and don't forget to check out the release!

Thank you for checking out my little creation.

Bunny Basket Scene

My share today is from Craftin Desert Diva's  February digital release.
This image is Bunny Basket Scene.

I done something a little different.  I made up some special little place cards for our Easter lunch.  I printed out the images and drew a rectangle around the images.  I used a pen knife to cut around the top of the head and ears so they popped up when creasing the mountain fold in.  I also trimmed around the flowers and egg on the right hand side to make it look like they are hanging off the edge.
Coloured all the images the same except for the ear bow.  We have 3 girls and 2 boys for the lunch so coloured the bows pink and blue respectively.  I also added a little bit of coloured card on the bottom to match said bows.  And to finish off a gem in the centre of each bow.

So you can use the images for anything, not just cards, and resize them to match your project.

Thanks for looking!  Happy crafting.

Easter Chick

Today I am sharing my latest project for the Heartcraft Paper's February Release.  This one is called Easter Chick.

I chose this image as I love to colour in weaved baskets.  They are very simple to colour and have that wow factor when done.
I coloured the image up and trimmed it.  Then I hand drew in the sewn border. I printed the easter sentiment that comes with the image.  I trimmed it down to banner size and adhered with a foam mount tape.  I had a physical stamp of an easter egg so I randomly stamped the front of the card.  Randomly added some some enamel accents and sequins.

Don't forget to check out the latest release and get ready early for Easter.

Together We Rule

Hi, and welcome to another project share for Kindred Stamps.  Today I am sharing with you a card I made using Galactic Adventure The Sequel.  A timeless favourite of many.  This is a project for the beginner to experienced.

Just grab some of that galaxy patterned paper ( or make one yourself!) and cut it to fit a black card and adhere to the front.  Colour in the moon and the character.  If you need help with the colours I have a step by step on my blog on how to colour him.  I drew a little handrawn planet, for this character to stand on, on grey card and cut out and added it to the front.
I white embossed the sentiment from the set onto black card and trimmed it to size and foam mounted it to the front.  A very simple card but very effective.  I love using these sets.  The ideas of how to use them are endless!

Two Hearts

Hi all.  Today I am sharing with you my creation for the challenge blog Artistic Inspirations

The image I used is Two Hearts with Rose

I got a little arty with this one. Firstly I heat embossed a background stamp, onto gloss card, with white embossing powder.  Then I used distress oxide in purple and when dry I used Distress Glaze Medium over the top to bring out the colour.
I coloured the image with my copics and again white embossed the sentiment and placed it over the top.  Mounted this onto matching purple card. And voila!

Don't forget to check out the blog and have a go yourself.
Happy crafting.

Foxy Love

Welcome back!  Today I am sharing my latest project for Craftin' Desert Divas.

This project is part of the CDD Design Team Red/pink theme. And the image I used today is Valentine's Fox

A very simple card to make.  I used the Scallop on the inside rectangle die for the frame.  I coloured up the Fox with my Copic markers.  Now see those tiny dots of red around him?  I just used my red pen to add those.  A very effective background without overpowering the main image.  Added a few rhinestones for some bling and just mounted on white card then add it to a red card front.  Very simple Valentines card for a very lucky recipient.

Thanks for looking!  Happy crafting.

Galactic Gifts

Welcome, welcome!  It has take me 2 years to get around to making this project.  That long I had forgotten where the pattern is that I saved for this....lol.  So I had to make it from scratch.
I am sure the pattern was much larger than this but I made it custom to fit our little heroin.  And the box to fit the little surprise inside.  I am sure the original idea was for the box to contain a little gift or treat but serves as an explosion box on a mini scale.
All I did was cut the card to size (for the character) and then cut a square from the right hand side.  Covered the front with patterned paper (used the square cut out for the front of the box.  I custom made a little box to sit inside the square cut out.
I did not glue the side of the box together as I wanted the sides to fall down, but the lid has had all of its sides down so you just lift it nicely off the top.  Also the box was made big enough for the little character to hide inside. Something you can omit if you wish to fill it with something else.
I put my thinking cap on to come up with something else other than a bow to put on the lid but the thinking cap was on the fritz!  LOL  The bow still works though.
Thank you so much for checking my project out.  You should really have a go and share your projects on the Kindred Stamps FB fan page.
Happy Crafting.
