Penguin Wishes

Hi all and welcome to another Heartcraft Paper.

This month we have 4 very cute digi images.  A series of celebrating penguins.

I honestly could not choose which one to focus on for this blog hop so I used most of the images in my project.

Don't you love it when the project in your head turns out better than you had hoped?  Yes indeed.  This is one of those very few times.  I seem to be able to do better with non - traditional colour schemes for some reason.

Anyway, I started with my MFT Tag Builder blueprint No.6.  Die cut the cardstock out and sponged Spun Sugar Oxide on.  I also diecut a banner out with MFT's  Tag Builder blueprint No.5 and sponged it as well.

Next I put the bauble together and readied my images.
 Copic markers used were
R81 R83 R85
YG23
YR16 YR18
Y28
I tried to keep the colour scheme very simple.
I used SU Limited Edition set Good Greetings because it had all the sentiments I needed for this project.

The snowflakes are from the Season Layers die set.  And the center dot and the little hearts that came out of the snowflake I also added around/on the images as embellishments.   The pink twine was already in my stash and matched in perfectly.  Here is each bauble a little closer up.

These images from Heartcraft Paper are just the cutest.  Don't forget to follow along with our blog hop and see the awesome creations from the DT.

  1. Man, I love these so much! I'm a sucker for a pink Christmas! It goes so nicely with the black & white of the penguins. And the glitter snowflakes add a great pop. Good call using the tiny circles and hearts bits from the snowflakes. Super cute Tania!
