Resting Pegasus

Hello!  Today I am here to share with you my latest project for

Have you ever had one of those days (and I mean days and days) where nothing you had in mind seemed to work?  Well welcome to my world.  The finished product looks nothing like my original idea.  Without further ado, here is the end result.

And if you look closely enough you will see that I even managed to capture the shine of the Wink of Stella!  Amazing!!  Right?  Yes!!!

I asked those who have like my FB page if they would be interested in watching if I done videos.  It seems they would...lol.  So this background may actually be one that I will show the how to.  But for now you will have to make do with just a step by step rendition.

Start with gloss cardstock.  White emboss a background stamp onto this.  Swipe your oxides onto a non porous surface.  Spritz with water and then take your embossed card to the oxides.  Mottle the colours and make sure you have pooling of the colours in the pattern.  When dry, rub over the surface with Distress Micro glaze.  This will deepen all the colour you have put on the background.  It is amazing to watch.
I printed out my resting pegasus.  Colour him (yep, this one is a him! lol) using my copic markers
B97 B99.  Use C1 for shading on body.
The sentiment and the cut out are MFT stamps and dies.  I had a couple of clear sequins to add a little "bling" along with wink of stella on the mane, tail and wings.

A very simple card but I was happy with it even if it didn't look like my original idea...

Until next time......
