Mass Production Friendly

Fancy Fold or Mass Production Friendly
Welcome to another creative week of Christmas Inspiration.

This week as mentioned above it is a Fancy fold or mass production friendly project.  And as you know I love my pop up boxes.  And living in Australia we have a hard time finding some great Aussie themed Christmas cards.  We don't have snow here, we have sweat and sun...lol.
Uniquely Creative have some great stamps (with matching dies if you need) of some cute critters.  I received a request to make an Aussie themed pop up.  And this is what I came up with.

And a closer view.

This will definitely be in my stall for the Christmas of 2020.  I just love these images.

Festival Of Christmas Begins!

We are a group of crafty creators, getting together to throw a Festival of Christmas! It will be a themed series of blog posts/videos/Instagram posts.

Our events will be every Friday, November 22 thru December 20.

This group of crafters are amazing!  Please visit all blogs to see all the Christmas inspiration.

Our first theme is Snowy or Snarky.
I really wanted to do a snarky card but time got the better of me...so I am sharing a card I have made for a special request.  This one is Happy Birthday related but I am going to make a Christmas version.
The stamped image I used is from Kindred Stamps
Winter Friends ,

A great theme to play with this time of year...

And as you can see, this lovely lady has even got some glitter on her dress.....

Here Is a list of the creative crew.

Dr Digi

Welcome to my first post for Sketch Saturday (in a while).  I took a little hiatus to regroup and now I am back!

We have a great sponsor this week:

Dr. Digi has generously offered 2 digital stamps of the winner's choice!

Here is sketch #589

And here is my take....

The image from Dr Digi I used was the Comic Sentiment 1 (have a super birthday).

This was a no brainer for me.  We all know how much I love my fandoms.  And I know the "S" is for a certain male character but this young lady was part of the Super Friends group so I think she earned it...lol.

I hope you can join us for your chance to win!

CraftsUprint

It is that time again for our latest projects for A Perfect Time To Craft challenge.

This months sponsor is craftsUprint .

The image I used is Christmas the Reason For Love - Baubles   This is actually a set you can print off as a ready made card as well as print off the center as well.  I chose to just crop the front cover image down to keep it simple.

I think these look great as tags.  You can print out as many as you need without having any leftovers to store away for next year.
I just sized the image to what I wanted ( I use Word but there are many programs out there to use) and trimmed them down.  Adhered them to some silver foil cardstock and run them through my Bigshot with a stitched die.  Then hole punched a hole for the ribbon to go through.  On the back (which I didn't take a photo of DOH!) is To and From stamped.  There is even enough room to write a little message.

An elegant touch to any gift that you are giving this Christmas.  I have these 3 for my kids.  It is nice to make a project that you can actually use.
Don't forget to play along with us this month.  There are prizes to be won!

Rock On Again

I just had a look at the blog and I cannot believe I didn't share my colouring of this fabulous little set.
Rock On another set from Kindred Stamps, but I have linked the set to my Aussie retailer Dawn Lewis as she has plenty of these sets on hand for you to purchase.

The photo is not the best as the new lamp I have bought is shining a bit bright at the top of the page.  But you still set the idea.
The next photo shows a certain rocker in all his unshaven glory.  I used my copics to colour all the images but have now discovered that my black prismacolour pencil does a great job on stubble.  I can see me whipping these pencils out more often!

And here is a planner page (very simple but I will get better with doing these I promise!)

So if you are into these rockers from past then don't forget to pop in to the markets listed in my previous post. You will never know what projects you will find.

Happy Crafting.

Limited Edtion Box Colouring

Hi all!  I am back with some colour combo's I have been working on.

I am gearing up for some Handmade  Christmas markets in the lead up to the holiday season. (Maryborough and Hervey Bay)

Also I was asked if I would do this, which gave me the push I needed to finally get it done.  Still have so many sets that need doing but 1 set at a time.

First up here is the Pride Limited Edition Box that Kindred Stamps put out a while back.

Let me tell you.  Trying to come up with the different yellow colour combo's was not easy...lol.  Copic yellows are not the best, but I reckon they turned out pretty good.
I love the little grubs....sooo cute!!

The second one I done was the Toy Box Limited Edition Box.  With both these sets I struggled a little bit, but I am thinking it was because I was not in the right mood.  Sometimes you have to be in the right frame of mind to do certain things.  But I am impressed that I got them done, at least.

My fav from this set is the little green fella right at the bottom.  So easy to colour but cute at the same time.  Now it is a matter of colouring multiples of everything ( not to mention cutting them out! You know me and my fussy cutting).  Will try and share more projects that I have coming for the markets.  Even going to do some new display ideas.  Just hope I can make them work.

Happy crafting.

World Cardmaking Day

Whoever thought of this is a genius!  Another excuse for us to get in our craftroom is what World Cardmaking Day is for!  LOL

Today I held a class in my home.  My favourite ladies helping me to do what I love to do.

And yes we even a flowers on the table (not real but very pretty) to embellish our space.

We made 6 cards today in a matching gift set.  It is up to each of the ladies whether they keep them as a set or just give them away individually.  Here is just one for an example.

We used  the Good Morning Magnolia set from Stampin'Up.

I love these so much.  I will be having the gift sets available in my stall.  Great ideas for Christmas gifts.
