Sketch Saturday time again.  This weeks sketch is

And this week I finally played with my favourite set (right now) from

Motel Friends is the set I am talking about.  Great card for the LGBTQIA+ community as this character is part of it.
I kept the colour scheme very simple as he only dresses in black and white 99% of the time.
I add a little bling with the glimmer strip under the diagonal panel and then punched some of that as well for the dots.
The flower was replaced with the wine bottle with the sentiment.
Don't forget to play along with us and check out the other DT projects while there.
Happy crafting!

StarJamLines are our sponsor this month.  If you have not checked out their etsy page, please do.  They have some very cute designs.

The image I was lucky enough to work with is

Gnome in a Watering Can 2

Isn't he cute?  I think so.  What would be even better is to draw in your own background.  I can see him in front of a potting bench or something.  Our only requirement was to not use patterned paper when doing our project.  '
Play along for your chance to win a great prize.  Thank you for popping by.
Happy crafting.

Hello!  I hope you are all safe wherever you are in the world.  I am still hiding in my craftroom and and having fun.
Today I am sharing with you a project I have done for my Guest DT role over at
Dig Doodles Designs.
This months theme is Summer.  Totally different to what us Aussies are having right now.  Although, the weather has been relatively mild for us of late.
I got the chance to play with

I decided upon doing a title page for my journal for this years annual beach holiday.  Doesn't she look at home right there!
I done something a little different when colouring this one in.  I used my Prismacolor pencils instead of Copics.  AND, I did it on Kraft cardstock.  It come up a real treat. I love how her hair turned out too.  The DDS girl images have the most gorgeous hair.  I love the bouncy and full bodied curls on each of them.  I am honestly very jealous!  Lol.
Anyway thank you for popping in to see my project.  I will have to continue using the pencils more I think.  They are a great medium to use.
Happy crafting!

Pattie's Creations is one of our sponsors this time around.  And the image I was lucky enough to play with was

Magnolia Branch

Purple seems to be my go to colour of late.  And it looks great with this flower.  A very simple image, but looks great with any sentiment.  The sentiment I used was a Stampin Up one.  Add a bit of an outline in grey allows the image to pop.  Add a few gems tor glitz and voila!
If you would like to play along with our challenge, you have a chance to win a prize!
And don't forget to check out the rest of the DT projects.  They have worked very hard and show even more ideas with our sponsored images.
Happy crafting!

#128 Use Flowers

Welcome back to another great month of inspiration with CCC Digi Creations challenge blog.
This month our theme is Use Flowers.

I thought I would go one better.  I went flowers and frogs.  Are they not the cutest?  And here is that purple making another appearance.  But it really does suit the colour scheme so well.  The meditating frog is not actually in the flower, so I added him there.  The flowers at the bottom is one single flower stamp, then masked and the other 2 then stamped on each side.  You can make your own border with just one image easily.
Don't forget to check out all the gorgeous projects from our DT.  They do such a great job. And don't forget to play along for your chance to win.
Happy crafting.

Welcome to another great week of inspiration from our Sketch Saturday DT.

We are lucky enough this week to scan the archives for a sketch to play with. I found mine from 2019.

Now I know I do not have any baby cards in my stash, so I though this sketch would be perfect for that.  I sued the Koala from Star Jam Lines Digital shop on Etsy.

Works perfect for both colour schemes.  And I am thinking of even doing a green version so I can have a gender neutral card incase I run out of one of the colours.  Win, win!
The dot patterned paper is from the new Stampin'Up Sale a Bration catalogue.  You can never have enough of black and white papers as any colour can be used with them.
This is an image I honestly have been hanging out to use.  Being an Aussie, I love when I can find cute Aussie animal images.
Stay safe and happy crafting.

APTTC August

We are back with our sponsor craftsUprint this month.  They provide a crafter with a quick and easy way to make your projects.

My set this month is Merry Christmas Gnomes

The great thing about these sets is everything is done for you.  You just print, trim and put together.  A very quick project.  It even gives you a second set of images on the one page so you can pop up the image to give the card dimension.  Genius!  The corner florals are popped too. The only thing not included in this one is the sentiment. That was from an old Stampin'Up set.

Don't forget to play along for your chance to win a prize.  \

Happy crafting.
