Pop Up Hatsune Miku

 

I am finally playing with my 

Beat Paper

images and having so much fun at the same time.  

I love making pop up cards and thought I would give it a go with 

Hatsune Miku 

The key to making a good pop up is the colour palette.  It is very easy with Beats images.  The bright turquoise colour really pops on the black and white background. 

And as you can see I love to fussy cut.  But there is no stopping anyone from using a cutting machine.  Sometimes a white outline can really make an image pop!

I have 3 cross pieces in my pop ups. But to add a little bit more you can stick an image on the front of the card.  Just as long it doesn't go outside the front panel width.  That way it won't hang out when you collapse the card and fits nicely in your envelope.  

 Also I will share my Copic combo's here too for easy reference when colouring.

Hey dudes and dudettes!  I am getting my surf on in today's project share for

Ink N Splatter

using

Sporty Pups 

and a great tip for using up scrap pieces of patterned paper.

To make the wave I used the largest stamp out of my SU Artistically Inked set in 2 different colours.  Gave it a real mottled look.  

The sentiment is a random alpha die set I have and the stamped happy birthday is also just one from my stash.  

The banners at the top are a mix of papers from the 

Sweet Blue Celebrations set

and some Blueberry Bushel from SU also.  A great way to use up even the smallest of scraps.  Really make your dollar and stash stretch further.

I have done something similar before and thought it would look great using the new release papers

Blue Green Serene 6 x 6 papers

Who would not like to be sitting looking at this rainbow while drinking a delicious drink that has a little umbrella in it.  I personally have never gotten the umbrella with any of my drinks, so I might have to buy my own!  LOL

I normally add some balloons to the panels but honestly this paper is so pretty and busy enough that I did not want to cover it.

Hello!  I am happy to be sharing my project today, as it is part of 

Ink N Splatter 's July release!

I have used one of the images from the Sporty Summer Pups stamp set, and also used the patterned paper from the pack, Watermelon Lemonade.

Also I think it is my new fav colour combo!

Isn't cute?  We also, this month have a colour challenge happening.

If only I had used green for the water instead of blue I would have covered this!
